Terms of Service

This page is maintained by Sharp OCD Coaching to explain how this website and coaching services work.

Last updated: August 3, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Sharp OCD Coaching website or any of our services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Services.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase any paid Service. If you are between 16 and 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

2. Services Offered

Sharp OCD Coaching offers:

  • 1-on-1 OCD coaching sessions and coaching packages
  • Free introductory consultation calls
  • Educational content shared through this website and email

All Services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.

3. NOT a Medical or Mental Health Service

This is critically important. Read carefully.

OCD coaching, consultations, and any materials provided are NOT therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, medication management, mental health treatment, diagnosis, or medical advice. Frank Sharp is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, social worker, or medical professional.

Our Services focus on personal development, emotional skills, behavioral change and performance. The framework is informed by Frank's lived experience and study of various practices, but it is not clinical treatment for any mental health condition.

If you have or suspect you have a mental health condition — including but not limited to OCD, anxiety disorder, depression, PTSD, panic disorder, depersonalization-derealization disorder, or any other condition — you should seek care from a qualified licensed mental health professional. Our Services are not a replacement for that care.

If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of harming yourself or others, please:

  • Call 911 (United States emergency services)
  • Call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, U.S.)
  • Go to your nearest emergency room
  • Contact a licensed mental health professional immediately

By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood, and accepted this disclaimer.

4. Booking and Scheduling

Sessions are scheduled by agreement after you submit the contact form or reach out directly. You will receive available times by email, and your session is confirmed once we both agree on a time.

Sessions are held in person or online via secure video. You are responsible for joining on time and having a private, reliable space for the session.

5. Payment Terms

Fees for coaching packages are discussed and agreed upon before the first paid session. Prices are in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated. Payment is due before or at the time of the session unless we agree otherwise in writing.

We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect packages already purchased. Any recurring arrangement continues until cancelled in writing.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule or cancel a session with at least 24 hours’ notice by email at no charge.
  • Late cancellation: Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full session rate, except in emergencies.
  • Coaching packages: Once a package is purchased and a session has been delivered, the package is non-refundable. A partial refund may be offered at our sole discretion if you have not yet had your first session and notify us within 7 days of purchase.
  • Missed sessions: Sessions missed without notice are forfeited and count against your package.

7. Client Responsibilities and Conduct

When using our Services, you agree NOT to:

  • Share or distribute course or coaching materials with anyone outside your purchase
  • Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
  • Misrepresent your identity, affiliations, health history, or qualifications
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm Frank, staff, other clients or program participants
  • Record any session without explicit written consent
  • Interfere with the security or proper functioning of this website
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code of any digital product
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the website outside of normal browsing

Violation of these conduct rules may result in termination of access without refund.

8. Confidentiality

Coaching sessions, applications, group program discussions, and intake information are confidential. We will not share details of your sessions with third parties without your consent, except where required by law (such as when a serious threat to yourself or others is disclosed).

In group programs, all participants are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding other members’ disclosures. By participating, you agree to honor this expectation.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, course materials, videos, audio recordings, worksheets, coaching materials or related branding (collectively, the “Content”) — is owned by Frank Sharp or licensed to us, and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

10. Results Disclaimer

Results from coaching, courses, events or any of our services vary by individual. Testimonials and case studies shared on this website represent individual experiences and are NOT guarantees of your specific results. Your outcomes depend on your effort, circumstances, prior history, application of the material, and many factors outside our control.

We make no guarantees about specific outcomes, financial gains, mental health improvements, or any other measurable results.

  • Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability; in such jurisdictions, these limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Frank Sharp, his entities, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any applicable law

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

You may terminate your relationship with us at any time by ceasing to use the Services and unsubscribing from our emails. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any pre-paid amounts except as expressly provided in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

14. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and Frank Sharp Sharp OCD Coaching, we encourage you to first contact us at FrankSharp1995@gmail.com to attempt informal resolution.

If informal resolution fails, both parties agree to attempt mediation in Suffolk County, New York, before initiating any legal action, each party will share equally in the cost of mediation.

If mediation does not resolve the dispute, any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

You agree to waive your right to participate in any class action lawsuit against us.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any cause of action you might have must be brought within one (1) year after the cause of action, or it is permanently barred.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific agreements you sign for individual services (such as a coaching agreement), constitute the entire agreement between you and Frank Sharp Sharp OCD Coaching regarding the Services.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the revised Terms here with an updated date and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the Services after the changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
